Hi PNC!

Did you know that after centuries of absence, wolves are returning to Germany? While many Germans are scared of the Big Bad Wolf (unfortunately they don’t stay like this forever), a few fearless Berliners have caught one of these ne'er-do-wells and have started to domesticate it. Not just any wolf, though. Michael Wolfe.

We’re thrilled to announce that Michael, a successful serial entrepreneur, executive and a former EiR at Benchmark has joined us as a portfolio advisor. Based in San Francisco, Michael will help our portfolio companies as they build and scale operations in the US. For more information, check out this piece in the Wall Street Journal.

	Clio received a CAD$20M investment led by Bessemer Venture Partners and you can read more about it here.
	Hot on the heels of a US$88M financing round announced in January, Delivery Hero has announced an additional US$85M as reported here.
	Handshake raised a US$8M Series A from Emergence Capital and you could just believe us for once can learn more here.
	Vend raised a NZ$25M round led by Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, and you can see CEO Vaughan and his splendid moustache giving an interview about it here.
	Finally, Westwing announced new funding of €72M, bringing the total amount raised to €150M after just 2.5 years.

• Brainly announced that it is coming to the US next and in fact already has 500 questions per day posted on Brainly.com. The article also tells a nice story of how the Polish startup has grown from 2M users after the first year to over 20M actives today.
   
• Another one that’s growing up quickly is Kreditech, which just launched in Australia. Next time you are traveling down under and run out of cash you can just go here - or brush up your resume, because Kreditech is hiring.
   
• Positionly has just released an improved backlinks analysis feature. If you want to check whether all those backlinks you bought from that highly reputable link-building company on Silkroad were worth their price, you know where to sign up. ;-)
   
• More product freshness comes from the guys over at RiskMethods, who brought the world the first mobile app to monitor supply chain risk wherever you are. So next time a butterfly farts in China your phone might vibrate.
   
• StyleSeat has announced some impressive numbers: More than US$300M in appointments (that’s a loooot of haircuts, huh?) have been booked already and 200,000 beauty professionals in 15,000 cities have used the platform.
   
• Freshly off the YC crazyness experience, Algolia has opened a data center in Asia to serve Asian & Australian clients and added an analytics feature. It’s getting harder and harder to stay with your dusty old default search.  
   
• After last year’s infamous April Fool's prank (remember One Point Four Capital?) we skipped this year, but if you are looking for some fun then Typeform has got you covered. Help them save the world from boring forms with TypeGame! What’s your high score?
